Ingresso launches TicketSwitch

Ingresso launches Global Distribution System for events ticketing with backing from Oakfield Capital Partners

Oakfield Capital Partners LLP (“Oakfield”) has provided funding to launch Ingresso Group Ltd. (“Ingresso”). Ingresso will provide a new service in ticket distribution and marketing which will empower producers, promoters and ticket vendors to increase their sales revenues by facilitating low cost access to a vast array of previously untapped channels and customers.

To achieve this, Ingresso has purchased TicketSwitch, the established global distribution system for events ticketing, which was previously operated by the Seatem Group.

TicketSwitch provides the world’s most efficient event ticket sales and distribution technology which channels tickets from live inventory directly to the client or customer and has already served 5.5 million tickets for thousands of events, via a network of several hundred affiliate websites.

TicketSwitch integrates with most leading ticket box office systems, allowing connected distributors real-time access without the need for manual allocations.

The Ingresso management team is made up of highly experienced executives from the ticketing and internet sectors, including a number of key managers formerly with Seatem UK.

Roy Merritt of Oakfield is Executive Chairman of the Company, and Michael Patton of Oakfield has taken the role of Commercial Director.

Ingresso expects to launch its services to the market by the end of the first quarter of 2011.
